Statista Partnership and DDM Data Points

We are proud to announce that DDM is now a data sharing partner with the leading global business intelligence platform Statista which covers 170 industries and receives over 18 million monthly visits. We are their go-to source for providing video games investment and M&A data and insights gained from our DDM Games Investment Review reports. Though Statista does not list data provided by source, they have chosen to incorporate eighteen points from our report, including:

  • Annual investment value in video gaming companies 2013-2023 (link)
  • Annual games industry M&A transactions value worldwide 2013-2023 (link)
  • Annual games industry M&A transactions value worldwide 2013-2023, by segment (link)
  • Annual blockchain video gaming investment volume 2022-2023 (link for Statista paid users)
  • Annual value of new capital raised by video gaming companies 2022-2023 (link for Statista paid users)

We now offer Transactions Data in Excel!

At DDM we continue to refine our products and improve our offering so our clients can level up their businesses. Customers have stressed the importance of securing the transaction information contained in our quarterly reports in Excel format. We are happy to announce that starting with the release of the upcoming Q1 2024 report, our paid reports are now a bundle that includes a separate complete transaction list of the quarter’s investments and M&As as well as a matching Excel file. Pricing remains the same as the previous paid report: $399 for a single report or $999 for a year. The bundle includes:

  • Executive Summary Report PDF (same as the free report released quarterly)
  • Full listing of the quarter’s investment and M&A transactions for every industry segment in PDF format
  • Transactions data from the PDF in an Excel file

It’s the same great data, now in an easier-to-digest and useful format!

Each quarter, we continue to receive great recognition through press coverage of our quarterly reports. While we are incredibly appreciative of the recognition and coverage, we have often found that an article is simply not enough to highlight all of the important insights in our materials. Thus, in Q1 we have started dropping “DDM Data Points” or small bits of information from the Games Investment Review on the DDM website. These drops from the website are also found on our social media channels at @gamesinvestment and DDM’s LinkedIn page (follow #DDMDataPoints). Follow us for more great insight!
