The Strong National Museum of Play

On April 22, The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, broke ground on a 90,000 square foot expansion. The development will include a new home for its World Video Game Hall of Fame and a massive exhibit — ESL Federal Credit Union Digital Worlds — dedicated to the history and exploration of electronic games. The exhibit will tell the story of the people and technologies behind games and allow guests to become part of an immersive game experience. The Strong’s project is expected to be completed in 2023, welcoming gamers from all around the world. Follow along with developments at www.museumofplay.org/expansion-campaign.
