DDM is looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented (Senior) Business Development Coordinator to further strengthen our European agency team. This position focuses on supporting our business development efforts on behalf of our worldwide clients and in particular working closely with our Europe-based team members. This is a perfect position for someone with the right set of skills to establish a business career in games who is currently working in a similar capacity, who just graduated with a game degree, or who is outside the industry looking to find a way in. This position requires work outside of normal hours due to the international nature of our business as well as occasional travel in Europe when possible.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling across offices, generally for Europe based events and business development staff
- Note taking, use of our cloud-based CRM (Highrise)
- Organization and filing of digital information
- Creating, updating, and maintaining documentation
- PowerPoint templates
- Google Docs and Sheets
- Word and Excel documents
- Cloud storage management on Box
- Managing opportunity tracking sheets for European clients
- Working closely to support business development needs in Europe
- Assisting with client coordination, including conference calls, assembling, and sending information via email, booking meetings, advising on travel
- Attending trade shows as needed
- Joining business development meetings and take notes at them; eventually facilitating these meetings directly
- Working odd hours on a case-by-case basis to coordinate with other offices’ time zones
Requirements
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including online etiquette
- Attention to detail and extremely well organized
- A positive and friendly business attitude
- Ability to follow processes, but can think on their feet when needed
- Works well independently, remotely, as well as in a team environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook), beneficial but not required is experience with CRM
- Affinity with games
- Professional demeanor and personal presentation
- Trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information
