Zachary “Zack” Norman is a creative director, serial entrepreneur and seasoned executive with experience in “legit” games, mobile games, app development, VR, executive management, fund raising, eCommerce, and startups. Zack specializes in helping teams hone in on differentiated strategic market-fit and stresses the importance of go-to-market and growth planning. His skills in these areas and creative approach help teams identify ways to natively design elements within their offering to best highlight key differentiations and unique value propositions.

Previously Zack has founded several companies including, Textplus, Jamdat Mobile, and Tripp is delivering a virtual reality experience that leverages the “super-immersive” qualities unique to VR to positively affect user’s brain chemistry in novel and targeted ways.  At textPlus, he founded and handled the creation and management of the company’s platform and product offering, eventually reaching number four in the app store overall chart and achieving over 230 million downloads. Previously, Zack founded and helped build Jamdat Mobile into the first mobile games publisher in the US, took the company public in 2006 and sold it to Electronic Arts becoming EA Mobile. At Doggielawn/Barkpotty, Zack develops the business architecture, folding the needs of subscribers, retail customers & dogs into a seamless whole. He focuses on the design of the product, packaging, website and messaging and builds out distribution.  Prior to JAMDAT, Zachary was Creative Director and Executive Producer at Activision, Inc., where he designed and managed several hit video game titles including Mechwarrior 2 & Interstate ’76.

Zack believes that high product quality, platform-native design, and differentiated utility are key factors for the success of any electronic offering. Before his career in the interactive space, Zachary was a screenwriter and is credited with the conception of the Best Picture Oscar-winning feature film Shakespeare In Love. In 2008 He set a land speed record at Bonneville on his hand-built electric Harley-Davidson.
