Ben Wibberley founded DAQA and has over 20 years’ experience in the video games industry. DAQA clients include Respawn Entertainment, Telltale Games, Player XP, Star Stable and Jagex.
His expertise includes global production support, external development, international production and live operations. Skill-sets cover production, operations, business development, solution-based sales, strategic client account & program management.
As a co-founder of Babel Media in 1998, he took the company from concept to being one of the largest game services providers, before being acquired in 2008. After this at Digital Development Management, he set-up up a complete virtual publishing services network for AAA game studios. He then ran global business development at VMC, for a $120m book of business, where he was responsible for business development and strategy for games, media and entertainment BPO.
Having signed, managed and grown $100m’s of production operation deals, Ben has an intimate knowledge of industry best practices through his work with some of the most prominent names in the industry.
Client experience includes Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Riot Games, LucasArts, Electronic Arts, Disney, Turtle Rock Studios, Ubisoft, 2K, Eidos, Hasbro, Blizzard, LEGO, Warner Bros and Bethesda amongst many others.
