Digital Development Management (DDM), the world’s leading business and talent agency for video games and digital entertainment, has signed leading Japanese developer DIMPS to their growing client roster. The announcement was made jointly today by DDM’s Founder and Managing Partner, Jeff Hilbert and DDM President, Joe Minton.
DDM, which has offices in the US, Japan and Sweden, will work with DIMPS to help the studio bridge with Western publishers. The company joins the ranks of DDM’s other high caliber clients including Ninja Theory (“Enslaved: Odyssey to the West”; “DMC - Devil May Cry”), Obsidian Entertainment (“Fallout: New Vegas”), Slant Six Games (“Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City”) and Turtle Rock Studios (“Left 4 Dead”).
A video game studio that focuses on fighting games and based in Osaka, Japan, DIMPS has shipped over 80 titles since 2000. The studio has been recognized for their work on the Dragon Ball Z and Street Fighter series, including the recent critically acclaimed title, Super Street Fighter IV, which was published by Capcom in 2010.
